38NX08228S01FBKTO is a 8" x 2" wide wheel brake caster with a Heavy-Duty Nylon Wheel and 6-1/4'' x 4-1/2'' top plate designed and constructed for highly ergonomic, durable, and quiet operation. Featuring a USA-made rig with a sealed-precision-ball-bearing raceway and extended lead, this caster provides effortless mobility and is extremely quiet, providing a safer working environment for your employees. The caster requires no maintenance for life, featuring sealed precision ball bearings in wheel and swivel section (for swivel models). A robust 5/16" HSLA top plate and 1/4" steel leg construction with fully welded legs (welded inside and outside to yoke base) allow these highly ergonomic casters to perform at higher load capacities than traditional casters, even with the extended lead – which helps smoothly and easily align the casters when turning while also reducing unwanted chatter from towed or faster moving equipment. The heavy-duty and industrial machined Trionix high-impact polymer nylon wheel (78-82 Shore D hardness) delivers superior rollability, strength, and slide resistance. It is an ideal replacement for metal wheels, as they can handle the same capacities but provide excellent floor protection and are resistant to corrosion and most chemicals. A slight crown and sealed precision ball bearings allow these durable wheels to move with ease and precision (black finish, handling temperatures from -30°F to 220°F). The included face brake provides easy to engage positive braking action against the wheel face, ensuring a solid lock. The provided toe guard helps to protect toes and other debris from being ran over and is cleanly integrated into the laser cut legs. This maintenance-free and ergonomic series also features:
