28DT08228R is a 8" x 2" wide wheel rigid caster with a nylon wheel and 4-1/2" x 4'' top plate designed and constructed for highly ergonomic and quiet operation. Featuring a USA-made rig, this caster provides effortless mobility and is extremely quiet, providing a safer working environment for your employees. The caster requires no maintenance for life, featuring sealed precision ball bearings in the wheel. 1/4" steel construction with fully welded legs (welded inside and outside to yoke base) allow these highly ergonomic casters to perform at higher load capacities than traditional casters. The thick glass-filled nylon DT wheel provides excellent mobility for a range of tough applications, including food processing, tool storage, sanitary maintenance, and equipment requiring easy rolling with heavy loads. This wheel is extremely resistant to water, chemical absorption, steam cleaning, and heat (temp range -20 to 350°F with a 75-80 Shore D hardness). This maintenance-free and ergonomic series also features:
